DdDd is an auditory odyssey through digital technology, a voyage from the pre-millennial era to the present day.
From lounging on a sofa listening to vinyl records, to wandering the streets with a Walkman; from physical albums to on-demand streaming and personalized playlists; from wired headphones to Bluetooth devices with noise-canceling features, enabling instantaneous travel between isolation and immersion. We can disengage from the moment or dive into a liberated state, where sound becomes the vessel for freedom.

Traversing the Soundscape of an Era
The exhibition unfolds across three constellations of sound: “Everyday Scene BGM,” “Take the music with you,” and “☾♫ When Creative Tools Brings the Magic of Sound to Life ♪✬”
From the ordinary to the technical, from the medium to the maker, these chapters trace histories and timeless examples that reveal how digital currents have reshaped our listening. Here, visitors are invited to tune in—not with their eyes, but with their ears—to experience the ways sound has been transformed.
Explore Sound with Your Smartphone
Beyond classic music media and creators, keep an eye out for scattered staff-notation icons around the space. Take out your phone to join the interaction—you’ll stumble upon hidden clues, collect them, and unlock a variety of sonic experiences.
At the end of the game, your journey shapes a one-of-a-kind instrument, turning your phone into a personal tool for creation. And the best part? You can even team up with other players to co-create new sounds together.
Take Control of Sound—Become a Creator
In the exhibition’s final experience, you’ll step up to a sound interactive device and transform the music in real time. The visuals on screen shift dynamically with your settings—here, everyone can be a creator. Feel how music and imagery intertwine to spark memories and stir emotions.
